Macie’s Corner: What I’m Thankful For (Besides Treats and Belly Rubs)

Hi friends,
it’s Macie again!

November is a time for reflection, warm snuggles, and maybe a little turkey (if I’
m lucky). While I’m always thankful for treats and belly rubs, this month I wanted to share a few of the things that make my tail wag — the little things that make a house feel like home.
🐾 Macie’s Gratitude List
1. Morning Snuggles Starting the day with soft words and gentle pets is pure love. A cozy home filled with kind humans? That’s the good stuff.
2. My Favorite Spot on the Couch Even if I’m not technically allowed up there, my mom always makes space for me — and that’s what makes it home. (Thanks Mom, Debi to you.)
3. A Safe, Fenced Yard to Patrol I’m not saying I run security for the squirrels in Lone Tree, but I am saying a safe outdoor space makes all the difference.
4. Predictable Routines I know when it’s walk time, dinnertime, and bedtime. And when life feels busy or uncertain, that consistency keeps me grounded — especially during moves or showings.
5. A Human Who Gets It Whether you’re looking for a new place or selling your beloved home, I’m thankful my mom always makes sure people consider the whole family — even the ones with paws and tails.
🐾 Real Talk from Macie
Homes aren’t just built with bricks and wood — they’re built with love, comfort, and the routines that make us feel safe. And when people are thinking about moving, my mom always reminds them to think about everyone’s needs — kids, pets, even the aging golden retriever who needs a ramp for the back steps.
If you’re thinking about a move this season, I know someone who can help (and gives the best belly rubs after showings).
Gratefully yours,
Macie
