Big changes are underway in Lone Tree’s Entertainment District, and this is one to watch.

On December 16, 2025, the City Council approved a rezoning for the Westbrook Entertainment and Sports District. This update opens the door for new development at the former United Artists Theatre site and supports the long-term vision outlined in Lone Tree Elevated.

This isn’t just a zoning change, it’s a shift toward creating a more connected, active, and engaging part of the community. The plan introduces a new area designed specifically for a vibrant, mixed-use environment.

So what could that look like?

Think residential options like apartments or condos paired with everyday conveniences and experiences, including restaurants, coffee shops, retail, and even art or music spaces. The goal is to create a place where people can live, gather, and spend time, all in one area.

There’s also a strong focus on community. Plans include public spaces like promenades and parks, with room for seasonal markets, outdoor concerts, and local events that bring people together.

In addition, the area allows for standalone commercial uses such as hotels, offices, fitness or recreational spaces, daycare, and more, adding to the overall convenience and energy of the district.

This is a meaningful step forward for Lone Tree, and it will be exciting to see how it continues to evolve.

Curious what this could mean for home values, lifestyle, or future opportunities nearby? Im always happy to share what Im seeing locally.
