Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be complicated to feel special. Sometimes the most memorable moments come from the little things — like a fun, festive treat you can make with your kids, your partner, or your favorite neighbors. This year, I’m sharing a quick and adorable idea that’s been a hit in my own home: the Cupid Float.

What Is a Cupid Float?

Think of it as a Valentine’s twist on the classic ice cream float — sweet, pink, and full of charm. It’s perfect for after-school treats, Galentine’s gatherings, or a cozy night in.

How to Make It   You only need a few simple ingredients:

  • Pink frosting

  • Valentine’s sprinkles

  • Strawberry ice cream

  • Strawberry Crush (or strawberry juice for a lighter option)

Steps:

  1. Rim your glass with pink frosting.

  2. Dip the rim into sprinkles for a festive touch.

  3. Add a scoop (or two!) of strawberry ice cream.

  4. Pour Strawberry Crush over the top and watch the magic happen.

  5. Cut the ends off of 1 strand of red licorice, then place into the cup to use as a straw.

  6. Drink and enjoy!

Why I Love It ❤️

This treat is:

  • Kid-approved

  • Budget-friendly

  • Fast and fun

  • Perfect for Valentine’s Day photos

It’s also a great way to slow down and enjoy a moment of sweetness with the people you love.

Try It & Share!   If you make a Cupid Float this February, I’d love to see it. Tag me on Instagram @debihaningcoloradohomes — your creativity always inspires me!
